2. Prepare Your Documents:
   • Use our detailed checklist to gather all required documents.
3. Attend Your Appointment:
   • Present yourself in person for identification, biometric data capture, and document verification.
4. Processing & Delivery:
   • Your application is processed by the relevant authorities. Once approved, your new passport or ID card is sent to you by courier.
5. Ongoing Support:
   • We provide continuous support and updates throughout the process.

Documents Required

For First-Time Passports & Renewals:

• Fully completed passport application form (available on the consulate’s website).
• Current Bulgarian passport (if renewing).
• Bulgarian national identity card (if applicable).
• Proof of Bulgarian citizenship (if first-time applicant).
• Proof of UK residence (BRP card or UKVI digital status).
• Recent passport-sized photograph (meeting Bulgarian biometric specifications).

For Lost or Stolen Passports:

• Police report confirming the passport loss.
• Declaration of lost/stolen passport.
• Any previous Bulgarian identity document or proof of citizenship.
• Supporting identification documents (e.g., UK residence permit, driver’s license).

For Temporary Travel Documents (Emergency Passports):

• Proof of urgent travel (e.g., flight ticket).
• Declaration explaining the emergency.
• Valid identification document (if available).
